In the sports club of Azerbaijan Technological University , exercises are held for both male and female students in 7 sports. These are football, basketball, volleyball, chess, checkers, table tennis and athletics. The gym has a mini football, volleyball and basketball court, as well as a billiards room, a gym and a table tennis room. The sports club traditionally organizes a series of competitions every year. Internal championships are organized among faculties in various sports. In addition, the Ganja city open championship called the “Development Cup” is traditionally organized every year in mini football and a cup competition is organized in connection with the anniversary of the birth of the national leader Heydar Aliyev. Since February, the spartakia organized in connection with the anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s birth has been taking place among the universities. In addition, ATU teams participate in national level competitions.
