In 2024, Azerbaijan Technological University conducted a Graduate Employment Survey to assess the career outcomes of the 2023 graduating class. A total of 680 out of 727 graduates participated in the survey, reflecting a response rate of 93.5%.

Key Findings

The overall employment rate among respondents was 77.9%.
Out of 680 graduates, 530 (77.9%) reported being employed in various sectors.
The unemployment rate among respondents stood at 22.1% (150 graduates).
Additionally, 134 graduates opted to continue their education through further studies.
The median monthly salary for graduates was $470 USD.
39 (5.5%) unemployed graduates include those fulfilling military service obligations or facing health issues. Additionally, a significant challenge is that many companies require at least one year of work experience.
